Strategic Talks: MBWA Policy Dialogue at Menara MITI

On 15 April 2026 at 4:00 PM, the President of MBWA, Mr. Desmond Lee, led a delegation of committee members and association members to visit YB Sim Tze Tzin, Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, at Menara MITI.
During the meeting, both parties engaged in discussions regarding the current challenges faced by the industry, particularly the shortage of raw material supply and issues related to anti Dumping tax . This discussion also serves as a preparatory engagement in line with the Association’s plan to submit a memorandum to the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Tan Sri Johari.
The Minister has confirmed a meeting with the Association’s council members and representatives on 4 May 2026 to further deliberate on these matters.
